My experience with Jack O' Trades was excellent they actually corrected a walk-in shower that was done incorrectly from the first time when I had it installed. The representative that was installing the job was always prompt. Never missed a day showed up every day until the job was completed . Highly recommend this company .

Logan has done 2 different major repairs for us. We even had a literal hole in our floor. He's sent Brian both times and we've been very happy. Built a second story deck and stairs for me. Workmanship was fantastic. Brian worked alone and is a perfectionist. They used Dock boards instead of pressure treated which will last 29 or more years. Everything is rock solid. Have had nothing but compliments on the workmanship. Very glad I contracted Jack O' Trades for my project.

Again had some updates done to our home and of course we called Logan from Jack O' Trades. He responded quickly, professionally and provided an estimate for the work shortly. He sent out a team who were clean, polite, professional and of course knew their stuff and everything was completed on time and when done there was no mess or trace of anyone working in the home. As far as the estimate, it was right on target with the only surprise that it was less than expected as they needed less materials. That's something I've not seen anyone else do. We were shown all receipts and how the total was put together. They are so trustworthy we left them in the home alone to work and keys to come and go. We can't recommend Jack O' Trades high enough and they continue to be our go to for any home updates. You will not be disappointed if you call them.

I hired JackOTrades to do several things around my house. Power washing the house, caulking showers and all windows, fixing a screen on my pool cage. The big job was refurbishing my dock. Logan gave his honest opinion on the job and guided me into making a sound decision. Logan and Keith were both professional , honest and a pleasure to do business with. Logan is very responsive to inquiries. Brian came right out and explained what needed to be done, we had an all inclusive estimate in a few days and work commenced when promised. Brian was dependable, on time, meticulous, polite, knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, and the best at what he does. He did not leave until everything was perfect. I wanted to build a deck in my backyard and Jack O' Trades was one of the companies I reached out too. Logan was the person I spoke with on the phone at first, and he did an extremely great job at explaining to me how this is all done. He was pretty much close to on point also with me just sending him a picture and giving me an idea of cost. Their cost was quite reasonable compared to other companies I got quotes from. Plus they were lots of good reviews so I decided to give them a try. David was the one that came out and built the deck! He was very neat and knowledgeable about what he was doing. Everyday before he left he cleaned up the area without leaving stuff laying around. My husband and I were very pleased and satisfied with the job done. We could not be happier! We will definitely use Jack O' Trades in the future for other jobs!

Excellent service and reliable workmanship

Logan runs an excellent handyman service. We had him do a large number of repairs and upgrades to our house in order to get it in shape to rent out. They did projects involving the bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, deck, patio, and drywall/painting. I was extremely happy with the results. Logan is very responsive and provides excellent communication. I particularly appreciated his forthrightness about what projects were worth doing and which he ones he thought would not be worth the expense, in effect turning down work that he could have charged me for, but didn't think made sense. His honest approach in providing advice and perspective is very refreshing. I definitely plan on using Jack O Trades for any future projects.

I've used the company several times for different jobs. Assembling a tool shed (including a slab), repairing walls and painting, fixing gates and hanging large art pieces. They've always done an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

We had a variety of exterior projects that needed to be done, from a leaky gutter and repairing wood siding to deck repair and waterproofing, exterior painting, etc. Logan and Kenny met all of our needs and Kenny worked without the need for immediate supervision. I have used Jack O Trades multiple times. My portico had come loose from the wall and they reattached it securely. Then I had them do some drywall work in my bathroom. Recently they replaced some fascia boards that had rotted and my insurance company wanted repaired. Each time the cost was fair, the job was done in a timely manner and the work was of good quality. So far there has been no job they haven't been able to do.

I had composite decking put in, a non-structural cabinet beam removed in my kitchen and had recessed lighting put in. Brian did a great job and I will be using Jack O' Trades for more work in the future!

David, who actually did the repairs, did a great job. He was very flexible with his schedule and worked with me to address various issues that came up during the work. Replacement of numerous boards on custom wood garage doors was very well done and allowed the doors to not only be repaired but improved.

They were a lifesaver on this one. We bought a sofa bed that turned out to be too large to fit through a bedroom door. They were able to take apart the door molding piece by piece to get the sofa bed in the room. They then restored the molding and painted, it looks like new. Quick scheduling too, so the sofabed wasn't sitting in our living room too long. Very much appreciated!

They helped me address a corrosion problem in an outdoor bathroom -- essentially, replacing everything metal (e.g., sink and toilet plumbing pipes, sink faucet, cabinet door knobs and hinges). The worker (Kenny) was exceptional in problem-solving and attention to detail. His work saved my vanity cabinet (i.e., didn't have to replace it because of his work). I used Jack O Trades for a prior project (installing an attic ladder) and so glad I contacted them again. For house projects, they're now my GO-TO handyman company.

The work was excellent. Our on site carpenter, Dave, was honest, thorough and professional. He was careful to point out issues and get my approval to fix them. He saved some wood from the old deck to keep costs down. He even worked through the rain and hurricane evac warnings. He was a solid guy, the kind you don't find often. He took pride in his work. The backend admin support was solid too. We will have additional projects and I'll use them again.

Perfectly done. Louvered doors open onto sturdy shelving. A specially constructed opening to the plumbing allows the condensate from my dehumidifier to drain into the drain pipes in my condominium. The new storage room is aesthetic and useful.

Jack o' Trades delivered quality work on my odd jobs around the house. Things didn't go as expected in some cases, and David's expertise allowed him to gracefully adapt to the situation and find a quality resolution. The owner, Logan, worked with me to make sure I understood my options, and leveraged his own relationships to make sure I had the expertise needed to complete the job. Working with Logan and David on this job, felt like I was working with a partner who prioritized what was best for my needs. I will definitely hire again!

After years of planning, and first taking care of other needs around the house, I decided that our lanai needed a makeover, replacing our worn-out textured drywall ceiling (also in our front entryway) with tongue-and-groove wood, giving a new look to our columns, and also giving a little pizazz to one of the walls which had damaged stucco from where we had an old bar area demo'd. After obtaining a couple of estimates, one from a contractor who had already done some work for me, and another who also seemed more than capable, I stumbled upon some very favorable reviews of "Jack O' Trades". At first I was a little apprehensive (you know the saying: "Jack of all trades, master of none"), but I decided to call. I remember Logan Steege taking a significant amount of time chatting with me even on that first call about various ideas. He was very thorough, didn't seem rushed, and spent a good 30-35 minutes on the phone with me. He genuinely seemed interested. It was only a few days later that he had Brian (Bigelow) come out to the house to take a look, and between the two of them, they came up with an estimate after Logan gave me some additional ideas from Pinterest. I ultimately decided to go with them, and put down my deposit. Now then, Logan coordinates the work, but Brian actually works alone, so it was going to take longer to complete than had I gone with someone else. I ended up getting cold feet late in the pre-work process, and had a company entirely devoted to wood ceilings come out to give me an estimate. I must admit, they gave a good sales pitch, but in the end, my conscience won, as I had already given my word to Logan. Well, I'm glad that I did. Brian completed the work today, and I must say, it turned out even better than I had imagined. Logan communicated with me frequently throughout the entire process, and Brian was meticulous in his work. He demo'd our existing drywall ceilings, and replaced them with cypress tongue-and-groove. He also built out our existing 3x3 inch aluminum posts with wood and schluter board to a base of 12x12 inches with brick veneers, topped with fashioned capstones, themselves topped with stained wood wraps and corner guards. We also installed five recessed lights, and Brian coordinated his work with a separate company's crew, which installed an entertainment system. My 89 year old mother, who lives with us, looked thru the sliding glass door a few days ago, and said: Boy, he's thorough. The area in question is so relaxing now, and a big hit with our kids. Don't let the name fool you. They don't just do small jobs. This was a major renovation, and the craftsmanship and dedication was evident from the start. It wasn't cheap, but was competitive nonetheless. Brian was timely, enjoyable to talk to, mild-mannered, and respectful. He also was immaculate in cleaning up every single day. I've already asked to be put on the schedule for some additional work I'd like done inside the house. I can't recommend Jack O' Trades highly enough!

We did a full kitchen remodel. Our house was built in the 1920's, so it has some challenges. I got multiple quotes and decided to use Jack O'Trades. Logan was great. The entire project went well. We reconfigured our kitchen and laundry room, installing new cabinets, appliances, an island, a backsplash, and lighting. It turned out beautiful. I love entertaining in the space. Our house is old, so it comes with challenges. The team responded quickly and professionally. I loved working with Matt, Duane, and Logan. Our 16 year old deck, measuring 18x26, needed replacing. We are thrilled beyond description with the job done by Brian through Jack O' Trades. Logan was excellent with the business communications and Brian's work is superior in every single way. The deck had major flaws from the original construction. Brian made all the corrections, explained every step along the way, did exactly what needed to be done and was able to leave parts that were okay, thereby economizing on the job which was a very fair price anyway. Specifically, there were foundations parts that needed correcting. That was done and the deck is in better shape than it's ever been. It was slightly off-level. Brian corrected that and the deck is precisely level. There were seams in random spots on the old deck. Brian created a beautiful pattern that not only is functionally sound but aesthetically pleasing. The rails are cut precisely and are beautiful. Every day cleanup was precise and things were in neat order. Brian kept us very informed about every step. His work ethic is superior and his attention to detail is beyond superior. His integrity as a craftsman is excellent and it's clear he takes great pride in doing a quality job. We simply cannot praise Jack O'Trades and in particular Brian and Logan enough.

Logan (owner) was very responsive and prompt. Even though he was out of town for a family member's funeral he had time to help me get this project done. I was in a time situation and needed help. My needs were absolutely met. He sent Steve out. I wanted to make sure weeds stayed at bay so I put down weedblock and Steve was willing to help me get that done much more quickly than if I did it all myself. I trusted Steve to get my job done correctly. And it was. And my suggestions were received and listened to. Really appreciate that. Bones were still there for decking but there were a few spots we had to remove and put new wood in. Looks fantastic!

Jack O'Trades was phenomenal. I have had issues getting a handyman out to the house in the past, either they wouldn't show or would never call back. I submitted a request to Jack O'Trades on a Sunday and they responded Monday morning. They booked Kenny to come to the house between 7-730am on Thursday and he was there at 7:02! He was quick to assess the work, ran to home depot to get the supplies and returned and got to work immediately. He finished 8-10 odd jobs around the house before 1pm and was on his way. I will absolutely use Jack O'Trades and specifically Kenny again in the future.

Steve was the only estimator to actually look in the attic and suggest adding bracing to the trusses. Steve did a great job installing new vinyl siding over osb board. He cleaned up his mess and was very conscientious.

We had an excellent experience with Jack O' Trades. Logan, the owner, was obviously very experienced when speaking with him over the phone, and was very quick to get back to us when we inquired. We first thought that brand new doors would be needed, which they offered to get us at cost, but when Brian, the tradesman, came out he knew right away that he could re-use our current doors and saved us that $500. Brian's work was impeccable and the doors look great, so we will definitely be using this company again for all of our remodeling needs. Highly recommended!

Steve arrived at 9:00 and worked tirelessly towards the door and board replacement. The door looks better than the original and the board fit perfectly into the rest of the deck. He had the August Florida heat and humidity as his adversary, but he worked on and finished both jobs at 2:30 with no one assisting him. Steve was hard working, personable, and understood precisely what we needed done with no direction from me or additional conversation. I would definitely hire Jack O' Trades again because of the workmen are knowledgeable and exceedingly skillful. My husband was very pleased with how good both projects were completed.

Jack O Trades was very prompt and returned our call the day we left a message. They recommended a water leak detection service to first confirm how the window/front wall was leaking. This saved us a bunch of money because two prior contractors had totally different opinions on how water was leaking. Kenny then came to repair the window and wall. He was professional at calling ahead of time and showed up on time both mornings. He did an excellent job and you'd never know there was a huge rectangular hole in the wall when he was done - he even matched the texture from our existing wall to the new dry wall. We are very satisfied.

They were punctual and called when they said they would. Kenny replaced 2 banks of lights for me, repaired a door that was off its hinges and got a ceiling fan working again. I've already got a list started for future projects for them to do as soon as I budget for them. Highly recommend them....they are my group for home repairs for as long as they'll have me.

Awesome job indeed. Steve was sent to complete the job, driving from the other side of Tampa to Valrico. Arrived on time in the morning, assessed the issue and provided me with the facts and options. Given his many years experience, asked the questions I wouldn't have thought of for me then let me and my wife select the options. Installed in the time he said it would take and even painted in attempt to match the original style. Did a great job in keeping the area clean and attention to detail was unmatched. Steve was also a great conversationalist while he worked providing lots of insight in answers to questions both I and my spouse plagued him with. Definitely a great contractor as advertised.
